Replace your PNA device battery with a new one

Many of us, uses noname Chinese GPS receivers (PNA), just like me. Unfortunately, the battery of mine was gone. It was undesirable for me, because I often use my GPS navigation while walking.

Pinch to Zoom, Rotation and High Resolution For iGO 8

As many of you know, iGO 8 is a navigation program for various Windows Mobile devices.
The higher end devices however, such as the HD2 and Touch Pro2, have resolutions that are originally not supported by iGO and according to the program’s developers, only the following resolutions are supported:

The screen rotation also didn’t work properly on the HTC HD2. However, XDA member ultraslan decided to make some modifications to iGO to create a good user experience on the HD2. He did a very good job and also managed to get Pinch to Zoom working.

Speedcam updates 2011 for iGO8

Get the latest speedcams update for iGO8 - 2011 speedcams!

First of all, be sure you've got the corresponding speedcam file for your iGO 8 device, downloaded from SpeedcamUpdates.com.

If still haven't got it, you can get it now filling the form you see on the left side of this page.

  1. Extract files from the SpeedcamUpdates zip package. If the file you have downloaded is not a ZIP file means the file is already decompressed, and you can continue with the next step of this installation instructions.
  2. Copy into your iGO 8 device, the extracted files before, into the memory card, in a folder called "./iGO8/Content/Speedcam".
  3. Go outside with your iGO 8 device to get GPS coverage. Activate the alerts using "Navigation Menu/Settings/Warnings/speedcam Warning" and "speedcam Settings".
